PROJECT SUMMARY
Metz serviced this ferric chloride tank for a repeat client, having installed the original brick and Metz Sauereisen 54 lining over 30 years ago.
This restoration took just over three weeks in total, including demolition and extensive surface preparation, all undertaken under confined space requirements.
The lid was grit blasted and then sprayed with Metz Sauereisen 89 membrane, with Metz Sauereisen 54 acid resistant castable then poured at a thickness of 120mm.
The tank's wall and floor received an installation of 65mm Metz Acid Bricks, set with Metz 12P furane mortar.
